Brian: You have to change the field type to character, the comboboxes are designed to return a character value even if the bounded column was populated by a numeric field (VFP does something like STR(numericField)), that's the way they work, I had some problems like you and the only work arrownd I got was to make my fields of type character. The only way to get a numeric value back is the way you changed the BoundTo property but you'll get back the row number not the related value you need.
