hey everyone sorry if I don't do this right. my first time trying to get advice this way. I work in an office where we do aviaiton research for the Marine Corps. have been using foxpro 2.6 for quite some time to manage all of the data that is compiled for research purposes. The problem is that I was always the one that did most of the research and was very familiar with query generation and getting the data I needed. what I would like to do is create an input screen that would allow the other analysts here who are not familiar with SQL and foxpro query screens to be able to put in things like a range of dates and a part number and have it list the number of times that part went bad and the average manhours required to fix it. and then incorporate this into a menu. I don't have a lot of experience with VFP and am at a point where I don't quite know where to go next.

please help,

thanks
