Fabio, the original author of Inside SQL Server 6.5, Ron Soukup, was the general manager for SQL Server. He and Kalen collaborated on the 7.0 version, and then Kalen was sole author on the SQL Server 2000 version. I think we can consider her authoritative on the subject. :-)
