Alan,

My comments came across as negative and they aren't meant to. <s> This is an area where Microsoft is weak but they clearly have the technical prowess to create an integrated modelling tool that addresses the complexities of database development, including logical, physical and process models.

Good luck with it.

>>Interesting survey. With all due respect, it doesn't look like it was written by a data modeller. <s>
>>
>>I spoke to Gord Mangione about this a long time ago. Microsoft could do so much with Visio to make it work properly for Yukon. I hope this is where you guys are going.

>>>Hey folks,
>>>
>>>The VS Data and SQL Server teams are doing a survey on data modeling and how it is used. I'd really like to get the thoughts of the Fox developer in there.
>>>
>>>So, if you're using a data modeling tool now or did in the past, or if you have things you'd like to see in a data modeling tool please take the time to answer a 40 question survey that we've put together. It will really help us put together our thinking on the scenarios that we want to hit down the road.
