I am having to move DB's from an old SQL 7 server to a new SQL 2000 server. I have backed up the db's, then put the backup files on the new server, and restored them. I have noticed that in SQL 7, there are system views w/ owner INFROMATION_SCHEMA. I have not worked with SQL 7 much and am unfamiliar with these views. They did not make it to the SQL 2000 server, but everything else did. The front end for these DB's are html pages that I am not able to redirect to do any testing yet.

Questions: Are these views a part of SQL 7 which are not needed in SQL 2000?
Is any functionality being changed or lost without these views?
