OK all you Install gurus, I have a conundrum. (doesn't that sound painful?) <g>
It is distribution time for our VFP 8 app. In the past we had a Installshield Pro 7 project that installed 1 product. Now we have upgraded to Installshield Developer 8, and for this new release, we want to ship out a few other optional programs. I have been asked to develop a graphical 'menu' to auto run from our install CD, which gives them buttons etc for each program they call install. A simple concept, but I am struggling with the specifics here. I mean, I have seen these allot in the past with software, Roxio, etc. But how? Is it an Installshield dialog, an HTML page?
The Installshield dialogs look kinda plain for what I have been asked to develop, (Flash buttons have been mentioned) and I don't know if I can get the functionality I want with HTML. What would you do in this case? I am also using Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks for development. Any suggestions, alternatives etc. would be greatly appreciated!
