And that's fine...I don't dispute any of that. You evaluated the workload to convert the reports, versus any benefit you'd gain, and concluded that it wasn't worth the effort. I certainly respect that. I've been in places where the VFP report writer was fine.

My posts were intended to challenge the statements that Crystal is overkill and that the reporting features of Europa would mean Crystal wasn't necessary. I believe both posts come from a mindset that is unaware of how much Crystal provides, and are borne of a misguided mindset that 'everything in one box' can handle all solutions.
