Hello everyone,

I need to help in setting ODBC between HanDbase database and VFP free table or database. I need to convert data from HanDbase format to VFP.

I created test.dbf table with a couple of fields. Then, when go through window "HanDbase Data Exchange for ODBC" I selected from the pulldown menu "Visual FoxPro Tables" (which I believe they get from ODBC Administrator). Then I specify Destination Table (test.dbf). But when I click Map Columns I always get the "Configure Connection" window.

This Configure Connection dialog has the following choices:
1) "Database Type: ( ) Visual Foxpro Database or ( ) Free Table Directory. I check/select Free Table Directory
2) Path. Here I click on Browse button and navigate to the folder where TEST.DBF resides.

When I click on OK button of the Configuration Connection, the same dialog pops up again. And I have to check and specify the same choices again. Always twice!

My question is, why twice the same window/dialog. And then, after all the trouble, I get error "Export to ODBC Databases Failed. ODBF Error Was" and it actually does not show the error description or number.

Can anybody suggest what I might be doing wrong.
