I totally agree.

In the case of graphing, it's not 'just' that it has a good graphing tool. It's that you can include a graph in a report band - I have several pieces of financial output where the graph is integrated with some report content.

The crosstab is related, since many graphs are driven from crosstabs.

The report preview in VFP9 will be enhanced, but that's only part of the story. I can drop a crystal viewer on a form and make it a modeless form as part of an MDI app.

I have instances where users (running in very high resolutions) have two forms loaded with two different reports, and are entering data into a third form. Yes, I've had that requirement. Until the day comes when MS does to 'REPORT FORM myreport' the way it took BROWSE command and made it a GRID control, the report preview capability in VFP remains limited.

Starting with Crystal 9, their output to Excel and other formats is very very good.
