Thanks for the feedback. While I think the Acer will be perfectly suitable for my development purposes as well as work as my laptop computer while traveling, I suspect it would be too delicate for the industrial field duty that I have in mind. But I think that if I can develop an application for the tablet using it, I should be able to easily port it to a more rugged tablet device for the actual deployment in the field. It is good to hear that the Acer performed well for you and seems to reinforce my opinion of my preferred choice so far.

>Yeah, I've had other Acer notebooks and they seemed to perform well. I've got an HP 1.7 Mobile now with built in WiFI A,B,and G, bluetooth,ir,512 meg ram, cdrw/dvd and 40 gig hd. I really like it.
