I'm using VFP 7.0

I have a class that controls a free table in my app.
The class has quit saving data for some reason.
I've verified that buffering is off.
I have the class inform me of the value after replacing, and it shows the correct value. But then when I browse the table, the value hasn't been changed.
The only thing I do that may be odd, is open the table again with a different alias to do the replacing in. I leave the table with the alias() = dbf() alone for my controlsources.
