I think in the original releases it was true that they were very simmilar... but the 'road maps' basically say VB.Net is going to focus on the Visual tool side of it, wizards and stuff that writes code... while C# is going to focus more on the code.

But, since alot of the code features are added to the CLR rather than one specific language, I don't think they will segragate to much.
