I moved from VFP6 to VFP8.0 with SP1. I find the STATUS BAR is not working. Even though TALK is ON, mesages are not displayed like COUNT, ALIAS name, DBF name, Current record in DBF, Total records in DBF, Open mode (SHARED or EXLCUSIVE) etc. Can anybody tell, how to make the STATUS BAR work ?
