Why don't you use FOPEN to open your text file, then a serie of FGETS calls to retrieve a record at a time?

I am trying to create this process for users to be able to use this method over Terminal Services. So I figured a cursor would be better than temp table so that there would be no conflicts with directories and overwriting. However, I cannot get this data into a cursor. Please help!! Thanks!!
