I would like to run a dos/windows command in a stored procedure, such as:

del c:\sim\section1\subsection3\nolongerneeded.txt

I have not been able to find the syntax in the online books or in any of the books I have. I believe that this is possible. Am I wrong? If not, what would the syntax be?

Thank you in advance
Thank You

Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.
