Thank for your advise.
Some of my printer function is not working under ??
command even thought I though I think of using them.

For example

Actual command

Chr(27)+chr(83)+chr(1)

My code example under VFP list below is not working,
I won't know why. Any ideal ?

* sample NOT working using ??
* the chr(27) is taken out as
* font 'control' is acting on behalf of it
SET PRINTER FONT "Control",10
?? chr(83)+chr(1)


* sample working using ???
??? chr(27)+chr(83)+chr(1)
