Hello,

GIFs can have two types of transparency - Index transparency and Alpha transparency. As far as I saw, the Index Transparency doesn't work in VFP, but I'm absolutely sure the Alpha Transparency does - I made some GIFs myself and use them every day.

I don't know about Paintshop, but Photoshop can save Alpha Transparency. I use Macromedia Fireworks, but Photoshop is a good tool too.
