Wanted to update this thread by saying that my problems actually were caused by the dropdowns( I'll start another thread with some questions I have about that when I have time). Having figured out most of the dropdown issues, I have to say that creating SPROCless CRUD forms using the BO's is very cool, and really easy too.

Also, thanks for clarifying the Save process. That REALLY helped me figure out my problems. I get it and I'm cruzin' now! Yippee!!!
