A few of us are trying to understand why ISE installed (usually XP and VFP 8) applications will only run with an administrator privledge. Some have reported that the user lock out occurs on networks with a "user profile".
I have also read that it can happen on a stand alone XP with user login accounts. Not just with VFP apps, but apps like Quicken, etc. The app will only execute if requested by an administrator. The app can only be installed by an administrator.
Some have suggested typing CACLS in the DOS command (local to the folder where the app is) with a series of arguments. Is this they? Can it be automated?
Any advice on how to make ISE XP/VFP8/Win2K Server installs work under a user login [after admin only install) greatly appreciated.
