if so -
i would suggest some preflight process ...
have an empty cursor or table matching your structure
append from the text file
start a scan..endscan loop on newly populated cursor
inside the loop try to find other stuff in your master quote table.
if not found by quote id, customer id, date ranges , then append .
if found but have some diff - either append or adjust master record

table processing can be fast, if you write it that way ..
