Don't know... it would have nice to have an underlined ampersand as a decorative element somewhere in the house, or... well, we're having fun with this problem for years, and once we solve it, we'd have fun for a few years more deciding how to use the solution :). As a Serbian proverb goes, "idle priest baptizes goats".
I remember back in the times when I was forced to use Outlook, one of the key operations was somewhere offhand in the menu, but it had a nice hotkey: "alt-." - so we wouldn't be so far off with ampersand :).
