Yeah, I agree. One of the issues VFPers face is that VS.NET isn't quite as 'RAD-based' as VFP. So much so that a few VFP people conclude that .NET can't do the job for the type of 'line of business desktop apps' that have been built in VFP for years. (See the recent thread the last few days on this forum).

.NET has the capabilities, but things just have to be done in a different way. I think VFP spoiled people!

As every month goes by, I see more and more VFPers taking the plunge. I've mentioned the book ".NET for VFP Developers" by Kevin McNeish/Cathi Gero, which is a great starting point.

I've built a 'toolkit' of stuff (equivalent of a LOCATE, for instance), and have thought about submitting an article(s) to the UT Magazine. I've thought about the content for one, which would certainly cover many of the questions and answers that I've seen on the thread here. Obviously, one article can't possibly cover everything, but with sufficient content it might be a place to start.
