Hi Inge,

To avoide problem like that in the future, consider running your application localy using a launcher progam. There're a bunch of them in the download area (in no particular order) :
- Simple application launcher File #9668
- Application Launcher File #9627
- Universal Workstation Launcher File #9576
- GenLoader II File #16324
- GenLoader - a WSH Loader Script Wizard File #9889

>I've set up a shortcut on windows desktop. Under it's properties, I've set up target=\\myserver\myapp.exe. When a user double clicks on this shortcut (on their desktop), then myapp.exe (on \\myserver server) is run. Sometimes I would rename myapp.exe to myapp.exe.backup, thinking that this file will now be hidden from the users. When user double clicks on the shortcut, instead of searching for myapp.exe (which I want it to do, even if that means the user will get error message), the shortcut auto change it's target to myapp.exe.backup. How can I stop windows not to change the target on the short cut? I want the shortcut's target to remain to be \\myserver\myapp.exe even if I renamed myapp.exe on the server.
