So I wonder how many other websites fell down because of this? I know that several sites and the Community tab in the VFP Task Pane show FoxPro news that is pulled from the FoxCentral web service.

Just think of all the VFP users who are staring at a blank screen today when they click the Community tab. How many of them will get discouraged or angry? Who knows all the horrific consequences of this chain-reaction?

It reminds me of the famous quote:

For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.

... and all for the want of a web service. :-)
