Mike,

Take a look at An Extensive Examination of the DataGrid Web Control

It's a fairly lengthy article, but it had all the answers I was looking for from plain lists to fully editable grids and 1 to many setups.

I found it quite illuminating in figuring how to get the dang things to work like I expected.

Hello,
I have a data grid that displays a table from SQL Server. I would like to have a user be able to select a record in the data grid, and then click on a zoom button which shows another form which shows a summary of that one record. I have the second form all coded - the only thing that I need it to have it go to the specific record. I want to somehow get the "counter" field from the selected record, but I am unaware of how to do this. Any help out there?

Thanks!
