I think it's not a matter of "not having been there" or "not going to be there".
It's a matter of dealing with those datevalues in the present time. <s>

IMHO it will be more interessting beeing there in the year 2400 (if humans will ever reach it).
In that year the 4, 100 and 400 year rules will come together for the next time and it could be interesting to see, if people have learned from their mistakes they made in the past. <bg>
