the dev env is not too bad, they have a desktop companion that allows you to develop on your pc and synch the info down to the handheld. the help files are ok but if you email them a question they are back within a day, maybe faster if you are in the same time zone. their website is www.kaione.com. you don't need to know access and most of the language is fairly self evident. you can get a demo copy from their site that limits you to 3 tables and 3 forms.
