Having scoured the Dev Guide, I didn't see any topic that covers how to build datagrid columns using MM BO's and MM web controls to display and/or edit FK columns in datasets. So I'm hoping that someone can help me with this task.

I have a MM datagrid, populated using a MM BO that is setup for editing and deleting. It is working fine without the FK columns . Now I want to build the FK columns to display the friendly name value of the FK in display mode, and present a dropdown list when in edit mode. So I setup a template column and inserted a MM textbox control in the ItemTemplate and inserted a MM dropdown control in the EditItemTemplate. I set the binding properties for those controls and ran the page. Ha! Didn't work, so back to the drawing board.

How do you accomplish this? TIA.
