I haven't found anything in the readme file that refer to the command prompt, but that led me to find a readme file where it was mentionned to install Windows Component Update before starting the setup. I ran the setup from the WCU subfolder and then I was able to run the setup of VFP 8.0.

I don't know what was the problem, but at least I now have VFP 8.0 installed :-)

>Have you tried running it from the command prompt? There's a switch that you can pass for it to bypass the prerequisites. It's listed in the read me file, I believe.
