From the Yahoo main finance page (
http://finance.yahoo.com/?u) enter a stock symbol say MSFT for Microsoft. Next click on the download data link. That action will result in the following URL being displayed in the address of your browser:
http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=MSFT&f=sl1d1t1c1ohgv&e=.csvIf you experiment with this and other web sites you will see the constant and variable portion of a URL.
