we use vfp8 as well. there is an option to export to a csv file in sprintdb, so we export the transaction file to csv and place it in a folder. on synchronise we have the files set to synch using active synch, this places them in a folder called "pocket_pc my documents" under the "my documents" folder on the desktop pc. using vfp8 we look at the folder on the desktop and import that. its sounds messy but is actually quite easy. we tried .net but found using xml very slow, it literally took a minute just to load the basic application with the customer file, in sprintdb takes 5 seconds.
