Yeah, I read that also. Just ran a test in VFP8. Using both the cpptimer and the native timer on a simple form. Both timer events increment counters, displayed in textboxes, and refresh the form. Calling another form (modal or not), the native timer code runs, but the cpptimer code DOES NOT. Spy++ shows the WM_TIMER messages being generated by the FLL. I have no explanation, but it doesn't seem to operate as advertised...

UPDATE: Doh! Change the form Init to =setuptimer(1,1000,"formname.myfunc") so the timer can find the code. Sigh.

I can not seem to get this to work. The label stops flashing when I click the form and have another form appear which is modal. Any ideas? Thanks for all your help.
