your vendor will typically have some programming libraries included with the product -
if for Wintel boxes - then you should have
a dll
or an ocx file collection .
They will give you some code samples in VB and/or C/C++ .

at a minimum - do you have code samples already ?
The 'fun' part is to translate that into createobject() commands in vfp .
and then drive forth from there.

all vendors are different.
Did you check your vendors support area on their web site ?
Surely they have coding examples there.
