.... I can easily imagine an user who understands that the app wants a dbf file, so he may find one and the app will be merrily going its own way until it discovers that something's wrong with the currently selected alias. The error which happens then will make an interesting log entry.
But if the application uses of the tables with the same identical structure,
but with different informations, the situation can become tragic:
no errors,
and the ruin of the correctness of application informations.
I would want to see which test/debugging/regession... bla bla bla it succeeds to find it.
It must interrogate, under oath, all employs that they have used the program,
and to ask if someone is remembered to have seen one strange Open Dialog.
The customer says to you that your application is mistaken.
