The login does work correctly if you go directly to the url. However, the client is not too crazy about doing it that way. I may suggest that he host the new site on his server and forget about forwarding. One of my challenges here is that I apparently don't understand enough about the mechanics of what is going on with the forwarding to ask the right question. My guess is the session is lost or gets lost or gets confused. Thanks for your input.
