Mark:

As a student of history I am always interested in these subjects. I have visited the wonderful anthropology museum in Mexico City where I learned a lot about mezoamerican cultures. I have recently read an excellent article in the last issue of Military History magazine about Hernan Cortés and his battle with the Mexica (Aztecs) for the city that is now Mexico City.

I have also read about South American cultures and had visited som sites in Northwestern and in Southern Argentina and in Uruguay. Sadly I have not had a chance to visit Peru and Macchu Picchu
yet.

I have also read about some of my area's original cultures (South Florida, USA), such as the Seminoles and Miccossukees.

A search in Google will turn out some links about Incas, Aztecs, Toltecs, Mayas, Quechuas, Patagones, Araucans, etc.

You can learn also about the wonderful peoples of Europe that loved them so much (their riches, land, gold, and women that is), such as Cortés, Pizarro, the Jesuits and all of these wonderful human beings.

A nice place to visit (and contribute to) is Wikipedia which is a wonderful Wiki implementation. Also see (although new and kind of bearbones at this point, but with great potential) http://www.WikiTravel.com
