Up to now, I have been using [ RUN WebDial.exe ] to access websites from within VFP (before I upgraded from vfp5 to vfp8).

The problem with "RUN webdial" is that sometimes (on some XP systems), the RUN command fails for no reason. So, it is not reliable.

The Question is with vfp8, what is the simplest way to access a URL ? (whether it is to launch the Internet Explorer and go to a website, or to simply download a file).

There is No need for the user to enter the URL, or for vfp to keep history of URLs. So, I don't need the combobox foundation class. I need something I can use in .PRG that is simple and works all the time.
