I'd guess that this has something to do with the Fox 2.x app running in the same address space as VFP 8.0. It could be anyone of a number of things. For example, a memory leak in the 2.x app.

Has the 2.x app been been converted to 8.0 (functional or otherwise) or is it still 2.x compiled? From the text, I'm assuming the latter.

The best solution, is, unfortunately, the most time consuming...port it to 8.0 completely.
