I looked at using offline views, but in that case I have to leave SPT and use a DBC I think. Our app doesn't use a VFP database or remote views at all, so the easiest solution I think is to dynamically create a dbc at startup, create the connection and a remote view at runtime.

I think, I will have a look at CursorAdapters also, I don't know hw they fit in this scenario.
