I am creating a text file with TEXTMERGE. There are 1-500 records (lines) in the text file. The file creation works perfectly EXCEPT I keep getting a black line at the beginning of the file. Any suggestions? I have tried PRETEXT 1 and PRETEXT 4 to no avail.

SET TEXTMERGE ON NOSHOW
SET TEXTMERGE TO C:\AUTO\test.txt

.
.
TEXT
"<>","<>","<>","<>"
endtext

Thanks for any suggestions. This has our project dead in the water...
