It is highspeed cable. Yes, I check "server requires auth" and tell it to use the same username and password as incoming. I have multiple account defined in outlook, two of my personal email accounts and one company one, they all are setup with the outgoing mail server as whatever domain they are (all three different). I do not have my comcast email account setup anywhere on my system. I check it via comcast.net webmail.
