I actually have it opening the merge dbf now but it doesnt seem to know what type of file it is because a dialogue appears asking how the file is delimited. Im wondering if I have the wrong ODBC driver or damaged header record in the merge dbf. However, that doesnt seem logical since the merge works fine when executed from Word.

I am going to experiment with that...
