You can merge a PDF form with data without 3rd party tools. You need a single FDF or XFDF data source (specially formatted text file) to merge with the PDF Form. I started with the book "Creating Adobe Acrobat Forms" by Ted Padova, and had to dig online to figure a few other things out, such as the fact that you 'serve up' the data file, and it then fetches the form that it belongs to.

OTOH, stitching multiple PDF forms into a single document, AFAIK, requires 3rd party tools. If you find a good tool for that, please let me know. I'm looking... <g>
