The User control uses a custom menu control (skmMenu). A style I specify in my .css file should be applied to some elements of custom menu control by way of property cssClass="MyClass". So it is a custom control in a user control that is placed on a page. So, enclosing User Control with a DIV or etc. does not apply here.

>Enclose the UserControl in a DIV, Table or Panel with the foreground and background color attributes set the way you want them.

>>When I place a user control (which has its own set of forground and background colors) onto a page that has a style set for Body tag, the Body tag overwrites the color styles of the user control.

>>Can anybody suggest how to get around this problem?

>>TIA.
