We use that field in the Employe table which holds the password to log into the application. So, as we encrypt that, we need that type of field. What I don't like about Memo Binary is that we cannot see visually the content of the field but to enter in the memo. Ok, it's true it's encrypted so what's the use of reading it? But, you know, developers can verify a lot of things when looking at the browse window. :)
