Does someone have a simple SP or UDF for maintaining some application variables in SQL server.

I just need something already field tested that allows me to use syntax such as the following, or something similar.


APPREG("ADD",","MYDATE",now.date)

APPREG("WRITE","MYDATE",now.date)

mydate2 = APPREG("GET","MYDATE")
