I have a combo box with a RowSource which is a cursor. The cursor has two fields: a text date and a real date i.e. January 2004, 01/01/04. The first column is to display to the user, the second column is to be stored in the ControlSource which is a date field in a table.

All I get are data type mismatch errors.
Format property = "D" - Fox changes it to "None".
Value = {} - data type mismatch.
Init Method: This.Value = date() - mismatch.

This seems simple but, Foxpro won't work with me. Any ideas?
