Hi Tracy,
Did you try to run vfp.exe with -A switch to eliminate registry coruption as a cause? BTW, uninstalling VFP doesn't remove most VFP entries from the registry because they're created by VFP not by VFP install.
>I posted a thread sometime ago because all of a sudden when I click on the VFP8 shortcut, the message: 'The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000034). Click on OK to terminate the application.' started appearing. I completely uninstalled VFP8 and reinstalled it and when I attempt to run it, the same error occurs. Does anyone have any ideas? I had been running it fine since it was released and I have no idea what may have happened to cause this. This only happens on my development pc at home and no place else. New P4/256Mb Ram Windows XP Professional SP1 system. VFP8 was running on this system fine for some time before the error started occuring.
