Hi,
Sounds like a process has gone south, if you reboot, it should clear, unless it is an viral infection, update and scan prior to the reboot, had a similar problem some time ago. If it is that virus the reboot wipes the disk.

>Hi Neil. The parent is named with two spaces and the sub-folder within it is named with a single space. However, they refuse to be removed. There is an error saying they are in use or that some system process has them. However, I cannot find any such thing and nothing new was installed. I will try a safe mode boot on the weekend and try again then.
