You might want to give it a try anyway. You'll need to impersonate an account that has proper rights to the data. IUSR will not work unless you open it up to everything which would be unwise. Your account obviously does since you can run it from VFP. COM+ is there to easily allow you to impersonate the proper account for your VFP MTDLL. See the following threads which also have some alternative info too: #846504 , #885346, #887239. FWIW, I blame Microsoft for this since the documentation on it is pretty much non-existent for these very basic issues. Maybe VFP 9 will improve it...
